We are a mother daughter team specializing in home raised and thoroughly loved ML Dachshund puppies
Our dachshunds are a part of our family, we live, love, and play together! Producing only a few litters a year, means that we can give each litter our full attention and care. Our mission is to produce dachshunds that have wonderful loving personalities, excellent health, and beautiful form. Our passion for the breed has lead us to forming meaningful relationships with like minded professional dachshund breeders in Ontario.

~Our Cottage~
Our home is nestled on the shores of the Trent Severn Waterway, on the edge of Muskoka, in Coldwater, Ontario.
A beautiful note from one of our previous buyers...
~ From the moment we found Westwinds Dachshunds on the Internet it was obvious that here was a breeder who cared about their puppies. The site is filled with information and photos of all their pups. My daughter and I picked out my little Penny from the photos that were posted. As I have another 8 year old Pug/Boston cross Andrea made arrangements to bring my new pup to meet my other pet. It was love at first sight for the pups. I met a loving and thoughtful breeder.
My new dachshund was delivered to my door, along with her blanket and a helpful bag of goodies, including an information package to guide me through those early puppy days. I was encouraged to keep in touch with them sending photos and updates.
My veterinarian was very impressed with my little pup saying I had a beautiful long haired dachshund.
Thanks to Westwinds I have a beautiful, lovely natured, puppy as well as a kind and loving Westwinds family.
